NORWEGIAN SUN is sister to NORWEGIAN SKY. She is slightly different with more balconies. She is also the first ship in the NCL fleet to carry the new funnel markings. She displaced the NORWAY. Maiden voyage was on September 10th, 2001.
This ship has a lot of bright, open spaces throughout the ship including the 8-deck atrium which is the main hub of the ship and has 4 inward facing glass elevators. Here you can find plenty of shopping, lounging, and information about the itinerary.
In 2018, the staterooms and public spaces were refreshed including a new mexican eatery and 2 new lounges. All staterooms added in smart tvs, new carpets, artwork, and furniture.
