Other Information

COSTA CLASSICA was built for Costa Crociere in an attempt to bolster the companies fleet of ex liners in the Cruise trade. She and sister COSTA ROMANTICA were to be stretched in the largest operation of its kind at Cammell Laird in Birkenhead, however on her delivery voyage to the yard she was dramatically ordered back to Italy and was refurbished there, with her mid-section being left waiting in Birkenhead.
